Hey all! Just posting to say that Kyle Gallner is going to be on the season premiere of Cold Case on September 24th. Here is the promo for the episode, if people want an idea of who he'll be playing.

What's up with all the actors who've done VM and Cold Case? It seems like there's a lot of them.

Plus, I just noticed something: Kyle ahs been playing people who kill other people. ie, Cassidy and his character on Cold Case. Also, who else from VM has been on Cold Case?

Ooh, I heard Kyle will be in this new movie called Red about a man who goes on a killing spree against some guys that killed his pet dog. I don't know if he's the lead, but it'd be amusing if he played another murderer.

Heh, it's like that with the CSI franchise too. Like, half the cast of Lost has been on CSI (as has Professor McNailsHisStudents from VM season 1), and I know John Krasinski (Jim on The Office) has been on Without A Trace, which is another of those procedurals. I guess those kinds of shows are a good springboard for actors, because even though it's only one episode, the actor still plays a relatively large role in that episode.

Really? I don't remember seeing any of them. I'm probably just forgetting about the episodes.

I think it's one of those things where you don't remember until you see the episode again once the person's famous. That happens to me when I see reruns of Friends or Scrubs with people from The Office...

According to IMDb, Josh Holloway and Daniel Dae Kim have been on CSI, Emilie de Ravin and Maggie Grace have been on CSI: Miami, and Ian Somerhalder has been on both. And lots of them have been on other procedurals, like Law and Order and Cold Case.

*Shrugs* Maybe both shows are shot in the same area?

I know I have seen a LOT of the same actors on different shows filmed in Vancouver... (The Crooked Cop guy from Dark Angel is the Russian General from Stargate SG-1... Pusher from the X-Files played a Colonel(?) on SG-1 and Jeremiah's dad in the series 'Jeremiah...' Marvel at my ubergeekiness!) So maybe its the same thing here?

Of course, I have no clue where either VM or CC are shot... :/
