Nanette, Likely: 2.4

Oct 23, 2011 11:20

Wow! I can't believe it's been a month since the last update! It would've originally only been a few weeks, but I've been sitting on this update due to some personal problems. I've been laying about today and finally thought about this. I should probably be doing homework, but I feel I've been the good student for a good chunk of time so far, so what's a little slacking off? ANYWAY! I know you don't care about the how's if's who's what's when's or where's, you're probably just thinking get on with it, so let's do just that!

With the death of Charlie, Bekah stays up most nights and just wanders around the house cleaning...

...and mourning. She misshes Charlie something fierce.

Come morning, she puts on a brave face for her family. After all, who wants to be a burden on their children?

Nanette's been surprisingly hungry lately. I wonder ~what~ could be going on.

Remember how Nanette woudl've reamed Rushton for that? Though now it could've just been that she was enacting frigid bitch status, but still. Drinking from the carton?

Since retirement, Charlie goes to press conferences a lot, so I felt a more snazzy grown up look was in the cards.

What is with you people!

Bekah likes to fill her time bugging Carina and Eleanor. Especially Carina since Bekah still wants 4 grandbabies.

Meanwhile, on his numerous days off, Charlie attempts to bond with his step son.
For the most part, Logan still doesn't like Charlie much.

Logan: Is he serious? Who does he think he's fooling?
Obviously not you, I know which parent you take after.

Oops! Not that they had 8000...but y'know...

Eventually, Logan's heart melts, just like his mother's. Human after all!
(Well, not really, but you know what I mean.)

They spend the afternoon playing catch.

Charlie: Kid, I was a pro-ball player for a good portion of my life, what are you trying to pull?
Logan's a little mean, don't mind him Charlie.

Logan never catches the ball. But he never hesitates to lob it at Charlie's head. Such sweet children.

But they have fun, and that's all that matters.

So much fun that Logan ends up napping after playtime a lot.

He slept through most of the evening! Till his mom came home and booted him off the couch. (if sims could carry sleeping kids to bed and stuff around the appropriate times, that would just be the best.)

Though Nanette's been in an office all day, losing cases and firm money, she is more than ready to let loose.

Meanwhile, Bekah resumes her quiet routine of wandering the house and trying to occupy her time.

Charlie wakes up and joins Bekah's fretful wandering. What's eating you?
Charlie: I think Nanette's pregnant. I've been around a lot of pregnant wives and girlfriends, don't ask me how I know.
He probably should be worried. Nanette is gonna freak.

I can tell that Bekah's time is drawing to an end, so she conjures a grilled cheese, for old time's sake.

Good eats.

Op. Gordie (kathsy) seems to have lost his eyebrows.
(As a side note, don't these people work!?)

This is why my sim kids are rolling in A's. They like A's, and I like that they don't stop to sigh about their grade all the time.

Guess who just found out what we already knew.

Charlie is likely the best step dad ever, but aren't all sim men who come into the picture a little late?

(aha..see what I did there...Charlie is likely? Shut up, I was amused.)

As I suspected...

And everyone's asleep...

How even, Grim.

Oh Bekah, where to even begin. This isn't the first time you've died in my game. In fact, it's about the 11th. But this time is so much more emotional. I actually cared about you this time, and you were so quirky in comparison with your other incarnations. You married a great guy (albeit, a little late in the game) you had three gorgeous girls, and you kept me rolling in blue. Because it was your favorite colour and so easy to find the shade that matched your eyes. I'm sorry I didn't accomplish your LTW, but you're crazy. I don't want to play 6 grand kids! They'll be lucky if I don't abandon this spares thing by the third generation.

Rest in peace, Bekah dearest.

A few hours later, this happens. Nanette, your uterus has terrible timing. Bekah would've loved this.

Isn't all of this eating at midnight what got you into trouble in the first place?

(she booty-called Charlie, not my fault.)

Charlie is pretty much thrilled to be a dad once he sees that Nanette's not mad. But my question is, who are you and what have you done with Nanette?

Aww, cute family moments brought to you by me. I'm obvious sometimes.

Nanette seems a lot happier this time. I think her standards were way to high for Rushton and she was awfully unfair about him. But whatever! New beginnings, aw yeah!

Logan is even softening a little. I wonder if this is all Charlie's influence?

It's their wedding day, and once again Nanette has squeezed into a dress because my formal maternity wear default LIED to me.

Carina even shows up, despite still being in mourning about Katricia. But I'm sure she's found a solution to that.

Eleanor

Bromine

They married in front of the fountain, which adds a certain element of "ooh pretty" to the whole affair.

Bromine, ruining my pictures since now. Walls down, ruining my pictures since forever.

The butler even sat himself down.

The rest of the time was spent carousing. Carina did avoid Nanette a little, but you know.

Meanwhile, Charlie's just waiting for his chance to chat with Bromine about retirement, seeing as Bromine was a pro-athlete as well.

And just like at every wedding, Carina heads in to dance. No drinking though, good for you.
Carina: There's no alcohol here. No wonder Nanette's so uptight.

When Logan comes home, he not only has an A+, but his parents are married and he didn't have to dress up! Not that he would've minded. Logan is quite dapper.

And he brought a cousin! Marcello Delson

They spend a good chunk of the afternoon smustling. Because it's a family thing.

Marcello doesn't keep up very well for the most part, but both boys could use a little help.

Aunt Carina to the rescue!

Nanette is much less worried about satus this time and spent most of the afternoon with people feeling her belly.

After arriving home that evening, the second pop came in.

I like preggo sims :]

Charlie is so happy, he whistles.

It's like Rushton and Nan broke ACR and it got fixed again once Charlie came into the picture.
(do you guys remember that Charlie was at Rushton and Nan's wedding? Hahaha..I just thought about it.)

Aww, look at them both with their bellies. Only Charlie's is just from a few too many burgers.

Nanette still hates maternity leave. With a fiery burning passion.

This is the cool thing about playing ALL THE HOUSES! Families :3

This seems familiar...
This got you in trouble in a different way! Put those pancakes back!

This is what happens when you sneak to the kitchen for pancakes.

I know he's a boy, but I've honestly forgotten what I named him. The family tree doesn't have his name either. Crap.

Mommy's eyes, both hair colours, and a geneticized skin.

I want to say Adam? No? Well, guess we'll just have to wait until next time, because this is the end!
