facebook mystery

I'm wondering which of my facebook "friends" has been leaving tags on my profile picture.  Happily, they have yet to tag me or any of the others pictured with anything out of line, but the other day I noticed someone tagged the "Change we can believe in" sign with "dumb."  And I mean, fair enough, the slogan is getting pretty old, but I still ( Read more... )

I wonder what that person would have tagged if you'd posted a photo of an insane old man holding a bazooka, with seven houses in a half-circle behind him.

In this photo: Freedom (remove tag), The Lord's Annointed One(remove tag), Our Hope For The Future (remove tag), Four More Years (remove tag), Drill Baby Drill (remove tag)

I'm not super familiar with facebook -
but I get notifications for freaking *everything* on there -
when someone writes on my wall, or post a comment on a picture - and when they tag a picture of mine.

I don't know if you have this turned off...
But if you don't, whatever e-mail you have as default, maybe you've gotten notification?

Unless I'm not understanding the story right - I found out that if you log onto facebook - you can go to the very bottom - next to "Online Friends" and there's a strange projection screen looking thing.

If you click on that it takes you to notifications, in which you can click "see all" - and proceed to a page. On the right you can check "Photos" under applications you've authorized. And at least for me a ton of notifications pop up on who has commented on my pictures as well as tagged my pictures.

Hopefully this is what you are looking for =)

Too bad I have all notifications turned off because they bug me :/ But I turned the photo tagging ones back on, incase they strike again. Bwahaha.

Facebook used to require approval from the album owner before someone else's photo tag would stick. Wish they'd kept that feature....or is that something that gets turned on or off with the notifications? Blah, I feel weird writing about this stuff, like all the words are made up and meaningless.

Which reminds me, a guy I know here works at a bar that hosted a Facebook party and he met the guy who invented the site. Apparently he's a tool.
