Today is the only day I have to write and while editing the next chapter I hit something and deleated half of it.  All of that was ready to go too.

DAMMIT all to fraqgging hell and back!  4 hours wasted.  Now, I get to type half of the damm thing over... at least I have a hard copy.

Oh man! I don't remember if you mentioned that to me on the phone. But slag! No wonder you were upset! *HUGS* Autorecovery. If it ever happens again, don't open another file and instead hunt down the autorecover file. (I would actually recommend changing where that is saved to somewhere much easier to locate.) If you haven't opened word up since deleting the data, you might still have a chance to save it.... and looking at it you can't actually change that in open office, but you should still be able to find the file for autorecovery and open it up.

It has saved my life more than once.
