Viki: I've read that it's not a game glitch, it's a (purposeful on the part of the designers) "Viki glitch." Though, I do believe it's totally random. I think I've played games where I didn't experience it and games where I had.

Luca: I don't want to spoil you, but it is your last chance for Luca. And it's not anywhere near the end of the game.

Also: Heee~ You used my nickname for him. Somehow, very few people understand that Prince Crazycakes is crazycakes. Maybe they think there's a rational and sane explanation for his behavior... like... um... yeah. Can't think of any.

Viki: I thought it might be something like that. It was just kind of weird that it was only happening for Kuskus. ^_^

Luca isn't the end boss? O_o Weeeeeeeeeeeeird. Though I'm glad it's not the end of the game, I don't have anywhere near the number of characters I need and I woud've totally freaked if it was the end already. And there IS a rational and sane explanation for his behavior: he's completely NUTS. I don't know how anyone could miss that, but hey, maybe they feel the need to believe that someone who is in a position of power like that isn't totally unhinged.

Well, in Prince Crazycakes' defense, (I don't think this was in the game, but is somewhere in official Suikoden backstory) he had childhood trauma that helped him go crazy. Kidnapped along with his mother and witnessed her rape, I believe. But there's not enough in the game to explain the craycray.

The game does mention that he was kidnapped by the City-State as a child. At which point I went "Oh, so YOU guys are responsible for this." They didn't say anything about the rape, but you have to assume that he went through terrible things during that time. He was probably already predisposed for the crazy and then that happened and yeah.
