Seder Dinner

Last night my EFM group at church prepared and hosted a Seder dinner for approximately 50 people; we had lamb, boiled new potatoes, horseradish, parsley, spinach, haroseth (chopped apples, walnuts, cinnamon pounded into a paste), red wine, and pound cake with fruit for dessert ( Read more... )

Although I've taught children about Passover and the seder meal, I've never experienced one. I'm glad you found it rewarding.

That sounds great, I'd love to do that one day, we Christians are always so guilty of forgetting so much of our heritage and the meaning behind our faith!

That's absolutely right, and we're the poorer for it. This was such an illuminating and moving experience, particularly at the beginning of Holy Week.
