I love this. I feel like a lot of the time Christy gets, idk, not victimized... but she ends up being the bad person. But your fics always end up being a breath of fresh air. Your Christy is always smart and witty and just perfect (even in the serial killer!au I liked her. Granted, she was fun to kill and was supposed to be kind of... more fandom canon's christy? idk what I'm saying).

But, seriously this fic was wonderful and a bit heart broken and just. Wow. I loved how you wove the two pieces of story together--the before and after because I feel like when you look back in hindsight, that is exactly how the pieces fall into place.

Yes, this, exactly. The movie makes it so easy to look at her and see nothing but the crazy, clingy girlfriend, which I'm sure is partly intentional -- when Christy delivers that line, "why does it say single on your Facebook page?" we see in her all the creepy Facebook stalkers we've heard about and grown to hate on principle, which in turn makes it difficult to see Christy as anything more than that. So basically I just want fic where she's treated as human.

But, seriously, Aslinn, you are all kinds of amazingly kind, thank you so much for this comment ♥____♥

Ngl, 99% of the reason I wrote this fic was so that I could write a extra super fabulous Christy, because I feel the fandom needs to see more of that. So thank you, I'm honored you think I succeeded! ♥

Oh my God, this hurts. In every way, this hurts. I mean, it's good. But so, so painful. I just want them to be HAPPY.

I also hadn't thought about the implications of the non-disclosure agreement from that perspective before. It basically makes a future impossible, doesn't it, as you said? Oh, god, now I'm even more sad.

But, I must also say, this is gorgeous. Painful (I know, you got that), but sososo lovely.

Anyway, I'm glad you enjoyed it; I wrote it after seeing the movie for the second time and I just REALLY needed to vent my feelings on a lot of things, so naturally that all turned into a crushing load of angst and a lot of Christy being awesome :D Thank you very much for the comment, it means a lot! ♥
