Natasha giggled as she posted to her blog, admiring the graphic on the quiz she'd just taken with no small measure of wicked delight. She was really hoping Michael *would* take the bait...even if it was willingly. One thing she was learning, after being a couple for just a few weeks now was the fact that he was, even after a millennium, as much a workaholic as he'd ever been.

"Longshot Investigations, thank you for holding...this is Natasha, can I help you?"

Walking down the street, Michael was rubbing his forehead that was still aching after all this time. Isabella had finally let him go home, satisfied he was alright. But as soon as he walked out the door he was ringing up Delia.

"Del, I have to talk to you. As soon as possible." His voice was a little raspy from the potion still, but it was hardly noticeable.

The moment she realized it was Michael's voice, Natasha's face broke into a smile.

When she realized how miserable his voice sounded, the smile died before it could fully bloom on her face.

Frowning, Natasha straightened in her chair, switching the receiver to her other ear as she leaned against the edge of her desk, her chest tightening in concern. "Gabe? Baby, you sound like hell...are you all right? What's going on?"

He cleared his throat. "I do not want to get into it here. Can I head over?"
