Falling in love with characters I hated or falling even more madly in love with the characters I already adored.

By which I mean, you tend not to write anything unless you really connect with a character no matter how much you love the fandom and because you have that connection, it usually causes two things.

One you get the characters voice down perfectly and two you start to scratch away at the surface layers, letting us see what wasn't there before, making me either like characters I once hated or adoring the characters I already loved
