What sorts of stories are you asking for, then?

Anecdotes. Folk tales. Anything, really. I have ears--I thought they might as well go to good use.

A few. There's no such thing as too many, though.

They're always interesting. A friend of mine invented a particular fable for me, though. [ wryly ] I may have asked too early in the morning.

That's what I think, too. But there's a difference between getting a story and getting a storyteller.

I think there's a story for everything. How else would we know that things exist?
