dai-gurren: about
The Dai-Gurren guild and the city of Raserun is nestled in the jungles of the north of Verinthia, and are also near the mountains. It is primarily comprised of fighters and what you would call the "rough and gruff" crowd. They live the typical life of a mercenary and will take on any jobs, bounty or not, that involve disposing monsters or any rogue bandits and wanted men that may be around. They are also known adventurers and heads of explorers, always willing to risk their lives on dangerous expeditions into the still unknown areas of the north. It is not uncommon to see a group of guild members also trek away from their territory and into the other guild territories. Other than their own mountains, the desert is another challenge they would like to take. However, negotiations between Dai-Gurren and Roots, the guild that controls part of the desert, are still in the works.
Another focus of Dai-Gurren is the continual research in the advancement of weapon technology; both raw and with magitechnology. They are source of most of the best brands of weapons, and are looking into larger weapons such as cannons. However, they tend to focus more on the raw component of the weapon rather than magitechnology advancement, as the leader, Kamina, believes that the strength of someone comes from their own spirit, not from something external.
However, one of the larger projects that the magitechnology researchers are working on are the development of golems. These have been under work for several years with minimal advancement. Kamina hopes that exploration further into the mountains may yield some better material and resources that could help refine the project, as well as make them bigger.
Currently, Kamina is working on forming an expedition into the mountains, a dream that he has had for years now.
dai-gurren: codes
All guilds have their own set of codes, and the Dai-Gurren's are rather unique on their own right. The general sense of teamwork and bravery is upheld from its original foundations, but Kamina has altered them slightly to fit his own style. He also expects everyone to follow these rules, and won't tolerate any member who breaks them without a sound reason.
Never give up, never back down.
Whatever happens, everyone must give it their all. Even if it looks like it's a losing game, that doesn't mean we have to quit with our tails between our legs. Until I, the leader of demons Kamina, say so, we keep moving forward and show up what we're made of!
Trust your comrades.
Don't ever doubt your partners. There shouldn't be a need to. So long as you trust and believe in them, then they'll trust and believe in you. Everyone focus on his own task and it should all be smooth sailing. And if there's ever any trouble with someone, back 'em up. That's what teamwork and friendship is for!
Listen to the voice of your SOUL.
Forget reason, it only holds you back. It's the fiery spirit, that burning passion that drives you forward! Go with what your gut tells you and let others do the thinking for you.
Don't take any smack from others.
Unless they got a real reason, though they shouldn't, don't let anyone trample all over you. You're your own person and are better than them. Show 'em what you're made out of, and if you can't, your friends will be there to back you up.
Respect each other and those who deserve it.
So long as everyone respects one another and acknowledge their strengths and weaknesses, there shouldn't be any problems. And we may be the best but we're not jackasses either. I ain't toleratin' any cowards who just stir up trouble for nothin'.

If there's one person you can count on it's ME. Leave all the hard shit to me, I'll handle it. But in return I'm expectin' every one of you to do your job. I'm countin' on ya.
While the guild members themselves are expected to follow these codes, those who live within the territory but are not members of the guild just follow the three common rules:

Respect each other.
Be open and friendly to everyone.
With these key codes in mind, the general atmosphere of the Raserun faction is one of pride, strength, and camaraderie.
