In general, we will look at the applications as they arrive but real life can sometimes stab us in the back and twist its ugly blade. However, it should take no longer than a week upon receiving your application.

All the introductory parts should be self-explanatory. But here is what we're looking for the more questionable areas:
» job:
As explained in the FAQs, your character does not have to have a job but if he does, you don't have to play it out all the time. Basically choose a job that would be suitable for your character, give a brief description of what he would/should be doing (if he's a trader, what does he sell?), and if accepted, we'll assume that the job is being done and the character will be making money from it.
» background:
Here we're looking for a generally good detailed description of your character's history in the Verinthia verse. As this is an AU RP, the original canon of the RP has little effect for this section. You are allowed to create a history that might be different from that original canon. Just so long as it stays true to the Verinthia verse, and that nothing that greatly affects the character's personality as that should stay the same is changed.
A few good paragraphs (2-3) should suffice. We don't need an actual biography just an idea of what the character was doing up until they become active in the game. Where they were born, what major events happened that made them the way they are, etc.
» personality:
This MUST stay true to the character's original canon. A good detail of how the character thinks, works, and how they will interact within the Verinthia verse will suffice. Depending on how complex the character is, 1-3 paragraphs should work.
» abilities:
Does your character have any supernatural abilities that can be translated into the Verinthia verse? Discuss them here and what kind of limitations they might have because of the differences between their canon and the game setting. Remember, your character may be super powerful in their canon, but here, their powers will be limited so that it is more "realistic".
OC appers keep this in mind when detailing your character's abilities.
Feel free to include any other special skills your character may have, especially if they do not have any supernatural ability. If your character is just a run of the mill normal person, a sentence or two of what they're good at (if anything, such as weapon crafting, problem solving, cooking) is fine.
In terms of strengths and weakness, some of this may overlap into the personality section. However, you can also discuss maybe some element or effect they are weak to and thus would compromise an ability or something that would strengthen them.
» appearance/weapon:
The appearance part is more applicable for anyone applying as a non-human character (ie, Elf, Risente, or Kaleska) as the physical form can vary drastically between them and original characters as we would have no real reference to go off on. However, feel free to include any notable physical features of your character here, such as an odd hairstyle, tattoos, piercings, a missing limb, etc.
If your character has a weapon, describe it's features here. Is it a standard sword? Does it have magitechnology or anything infused into it? Is it a specialized weapon? A brief description will suffice.
LINKS TO IMAGES ARE WELCOME. We realize that describing these things can be a pain in the ass. Additional details that the picture may lack are welcome, and this doesn't have to be very long at all.

If you had issues or had to make significant changes to your character to make him or her fit into the game setting and wish to discuss them -- such as having to leave out certain abilities or change in appearance -- feel free to do so here. If you voluntarily change something about your character, we ask that you list them out so that we can be sure that you are not taking too much away from the character.

Anything else that you can think of that you want to add can be listed here. Feel free to just put "Nothing" if there really is anything.
» first person sample: (message sample)
A few lines (like 5) that will give us an idea of how you will play your character when either communicating through the main community that acts like a sort of message board or in a first person log. Remember, this is basically the real voice of the character and showing us how a message on the main community will look like. Sample in Verinthia verse is expected.
» third person sample: (log sample)
Third person is only only for the logs, so we just want to see how you would play in third person. A short paragraph should suffice. Sample in Verinthia verse is expected.
