Tang is really rather unforgiveable under the best of circumstances. I have no idea what you're talking about here, but I glean you did not enjoy a book, and I'm sorry about that! I haven't read a decent book in ages, I keep wanting to revisit fantasy novels from the seventies and eighties just to remember what it was like.
The last turn of the screw is that the Cheap Trick involved the fact that the narrator was unreliable. I love unreliable narrators. Way to blow a great storytelling device, Vonnegut wannabe! >:(
