My aunt passed away today. We made it to the hospital in time for me to kiss her on the forehead and tell her I loved her...a few minutes later, she was gone

I'm sorry to hear about your aunt, but I'm glad you were able to be there with her until the ends. I think one of the most important moments in life is having those you love close to you when it ends.

I fully believe you can find friends & love online. The great loves of my life have always been screennames first, and gradually faces and bodies in the same location. ^~

It was tough, seeing her in those moments, and I had to step out before the very end...but I like to think she knew she was surrounded by her loved ones.

Long live the internet, I tell you what!

Don't get too excited about this new guy too fast. I'd hate to see you get crushed because you were over-thinking the relationship after being sad for a while.

That is good advice. It is all moving very fast, but it feels so right, so much like what I'm supposed to do, that I'm not worried. I actually have never been one to carry baggage from relationship to relationship...I know it seems ridiculous, but life's too short, you know? I definitely realized that yesterday.
