Even if he tried to, he couldn't stop thinking about Aiba and he found himself falling more and more for him each moment, not really knowing how that could have happened.
Things at home were a mess, his parents kept screaming at him anytime they saw his face, trying to remind him how he's supposed to behave and a bunch more of things that didn't really matter to Sho at that moment. He just wanted to enjoy what he was having, was that too bad?
Everyday was be the same, he went to some classes, skipped others and then went to spend the rest of his day with Aiba, whether just with him or together with the rest of the gang. With the days, he had gotten used to the high tension always loud friends of Aiba. But there was something that was bugging him, was true, Aiba and he had been making out quite often and all, but the other seemed reluctant to keep it further than that, and that was really messing up Sho's mind. He had heard a lot of stories about Aiba's normal behavior with other guys, then why not with him? Was there something wrong with him?
He let the topic aside in his mind, and followed Jun outside the building towards the coffee shop where Nino and Aiba were waiting for them. He was really glad classes were already over, but anyway, he hadn't paid any attention to whatever the lesson was about and was starting to wonder why he was still going to class if he wasn't going to pay any attention.
When they arrived he saw the two guys smiling at them, Nino jumping out of his seat to receive Jun with a heated kiss, that could make anyone blush just by seeing them, Aiba gave him one of those bright smles of his while patting the seat next to him as signal for him to go seat. Once he seat, Aiba grabbed his chin and made him turn to kiss him, brushing briefly his lips together.
"Hello you" Aiba spoke first caressing his cheek with his thumb.
"Hi" Sho replied before kissing him back again, trying to make it more intense but felt slightly dumb when Aiba didn't kiss him back the way he wanted.
Again those thoughts about Aiba and his visible lack of interest made room in his mind. He was confused and to be honest slightly hurt to feel not wanted by him, especially considering what his friends had told him. Maybe he had lost interest in him now that he wasn't the perfect kid anymore?
"So, we leave now?" Nino asked to Aiba pulling Sho out of his thoughts.
"We leave?" Aiba asked him, in reply Sho just nodded with a weak smile. They stood up and headed outside, when he saw Jun mumbling something to Nino's ear and then walking towards him, pulling him to a side letting Aiba and Nino go and promising to catch with them soon.
"Ok, what's wrong?"
"Eh? what you meant? I'm fine Jun, really..."
"Sho..." the younger guy replied with an exasperated tone.
"Is just..." Sho blushed just by thinking how to explain it to his friend "I think Aiba doesn't want me"
"What are you talking about? The boy is crazy for you, you just need to see the way he looks at you and..."
"Then why he doesn't touch me, like, you know…we make out and all but once things start to get far...it just stops."
Jun started laughing followed by an "Oooh" once he knew where this conversation was going.
Sho didn't took it bad, it wasn't the first time they talked about sex but mostly always was Jun telling him about his experiences and forcing him to talk about if he and Hiro had going to next base, but Sho always found a way to avoid answer. He wasn't going to tell his friend that he was a virgin at his age, not that it matter, but still, he found it an embarrassing fact to share, though, he didn't have any rush to stop being one and things with Hiro never seemed right to get to that level of intimacy. But this was Jun after all, and he was sure his friend knew about his "situation", so was not surprise he found amusing the fact Sho was talking about it and moreover that he was exasperated for things not happening.
"Look Sho, why to rush things? I meant you're having fun with him aren't you?"
"Yeah, but I meant....his friends said that he and other boys..."
"Come on Sho, think you're smarter than that. He's head over heels for you, Nino’s his best friend, you remember it, right? He told me about it, and you are different from all the boys he had dated according to him, so maybe he just wants to take things slow. Don't freak out about it, and just let it flow"
"I hate when you sound so reasonable, you know?" Sho replied rolling his eyes to his friend who again started laughing at the comment
"You may be the brain to books and school, but admit it, I'm smarter than you for other things" Jun winked at him and started to walk in direction where Nino and Aiba where.
"Right, forgot about that" Sho replied following him while chuckling.
Once they reunited with the others, they rode their bikes and headed to the skate park to meet with Aiba's and Nino's friends, Sho wanted to let the thoughts about Aiba’s rejection out of his mind, so he ended up drinking and talking with Ryo and Yoko and let his curiosity take the best of him asking again about the subject, he decided based on the info he had gotten to take the initiative, so he headed where Aiba was and kissed him wildly causing everyone around them start cheer and make noises praising the bold action. Aiba kissed him back and he thought things were going great, when after breaking the kiss the taller boy grabbed his hand and guided him to somewhere else more private, to their usual make out spot away from the curious gazes of the gang.
Aiba took off his jacket and placed it on the floor so they could sit, and didn't take long before the make out session continued, Sho laid on the floor, dragging Aiba with him, and taking one of his hands he guided it to underneath his shirt, feeling the light touch as an electric wave that was abruptly broken when Aiba pulled out his hand and sat back.
"Sho wait, we can't."
"We can't or you don't want?" Sho snapped at him, the buzz on his blood and the feeling of being rejected again where a bad mix.
"Sho...let's go, I'll take you home"
"Whatever" Sho snapped and stood up, storming to where the rest of the people were, he saw curious looks directed at him while listened Aiba calling his name, but he ignored it and headed to where the bike was.
"Sho...Sho, wait" Aiba said once he catch with him.
"Shut up, just take me home and shut up."
The other obeyed, and headed home. As soon as they arrived, Sho rushed to rode off the bike and throw the helmet at Aiba without saying a word to him not even a look.
"Sho don't be like that..." Aiba said ridding off the bike too.
Sho didn't even bother to look back snapping the door behind him as soon as he entered the house.
As soon as the door slammed behind him he sat on the stairs, trying to not let the tears that were brimming in his eyes to spill out. How he had been so stupid to like Aiba that much, when clearly he had lost interest on him. Maybe not being the perfect kid anymore had made him lose his appeal.
He rubbed his eyes trying to make disappear the tears that started to fall, when he heard her mother’s screams.
"You can't be serious Sho, again causing a scene slamming doors and getting home drunk? Is late for the rebel phase, son. We didn't raise you to waste your life like this"
"Sorry to disappoint you mother, I'm not the perfect son you wanted anymore, so deal with it" He snapped while standing up and heading to his bedroom listening his mother screaming at him.
As soon as he throw himself in the bed, he felt bad, he had never snapped to any of his parents like that, but at this point he really didn't care to go back to the perfect behaved boy who wanted to please everyone but himself. Without realizing, he fell asleep, and didn't woke up till the next day when his phone started to ring with a message.
From: Aiba
Can you go outside please? I'm waiting there.
It took him a few minutes to decide if reply or not, he was still angry at him
To: Aiba
No, what you want?
From Aiba
Please. Is important
To: Aiba
Screw you.
He sighted and stood up looking to the window, he saw him checking his cell phone and kicking the tire of his bike when his phone rang again.
From Aiba
I'm not moving till you come out.
"Argh! idiot!" Sho groaned and headed quickly to the shower and after it ran downstairs and went outside.
"What you want?" he asked on a dry tone
"I wanted to see you, and talk to you"
"No need, and you saw me already, so bye"
He turned around ready to walk back inside when Aiba grabbed his arm
"You are coming with me"
Sho laughed bitterly.
"You wish, let me go, now"
He fought to make the other let go, but failed.
"I'm not asking you, I said you're going with me. So wear this and ride on"
Sho saw the serious expression on Aiba's face and stopped fighting doing as he was told. When he wore the helmet he realized it was adapted so he couldn't see a thing unless he took it off, he was about to protest when Aiba spoke.
"Don't you dare to take it off."
"Where the fuck are you taking me?"
"It’s a surprise" Aiba replied giggling.
"You enjoy being an asshole, don't you?
"You like me anyway, though" Aiba said before they parted with an unknown destination.
"Idiot" Sho mumbled, but Aiba couldn't possibly hear him due the noise of the bike.
The trip seemed endless for Sho, he had to add to the list of thing he hated, being blindfolded. Once the bike stopped he was relieved, even more when Aiba asked him to take out the helmet and he saw where they were.
AIBA’S POV:
Things started to take its course, before they knew it Sho and him had started to become closer, and now they spent almost, if not all their time, together. The way Sho had changed was something that surprised him in a good way, he saw him more at ease, less stressed, more enjoying things and he liked that, he loved the sound of Sho's laugh or the surprise in his eyes when they do something Sho hadn't dare to do before, it made him feel at peace, he had never felt like that with anyone.
The days now consisted of waiting for Sho or for Nino to receive a call from Jun to let them know to go and pick them, then heading back to party with their friends a bit before going to a private place where they had shared countless make out sessions and sometimes even dry humping, but that was it, things haven't got further than that.
One day while talking with Nino he had brought up the subject, while waiting for the guys on the usual coffee shop. The small boy had noticed his friend was slow in the intimate department, which was something out of his character since he had a reputation build around it.
"Really, what's wrong? This goody, pure boy thing is so not you..."
"I...don't know...Sho's different from any other guy I had gone out with before"
"Different as in good? Or he has a hidden secret and you know ...that's why you haven't..you know..." Nino replied in a teasing tone
"Oi!" Aiba said throwing at him a napkin that made the other laugh" I meant...I want it to be special..."
"Wow~ when you started to become a cheesy girl?" Nino smirked preventing any attack from his friend
"I don't know maybe since the time you started to become an ass" Aiba fought back at him making both of them laugh.
"No but really, you seem a different person, guess love has changed you huh?" Nino said looking at him but he kept quiet "because you are in love, right?"
"I don't know" Aiba replied, slightly blushing, he had thought about it before, but he hadn't dared to put a name to his feelings, love was a scary thing, specially for someone like him who was used to ruin everything he touched.
"Don't you always think about him? Don't you miss him when he's not around? Doesn't the way he smiles make you feel your heart is about to explode?”
"Are we talking about me or what you feeling for Jun? Who's the cheesy now" Aiba giggled at the face Nino put when heard his reply.
"You know I love that boy, idiot. And come on, don't you feel those things?"
"I...I'm in love Nino"
Nino throw to hug his friend excited to listen to the answer.
"I knew it."
They laughed and chatted for a bit longer, before Jun and Sho arrived. Nino, as expected, jumped on Jun as soon as he was close enough, and Aiba had to fight himself to not do the same, he missed Sho's lips against his so bad, but he decided to control and waved at him asking him to get close. Once Sho was close enough he grabbed his chin and kissed gently, enjoying every second of Sho's lips pressed against his.
"Hello you" I missed you he wanted to say but left it on a short greeting and caressed his cheek.
"Hi" Sho replied, with a weird tone but he didn't have much time to think about it when Sho kissed him again aggressively, making the heat of his body increase which made him react fast, he knew once he let things happen he wasn't going to be able to stop. So gently tried to break the kiss, he was going to say something when he saw Sho speechless, but couldn't when Nino asked them to leave. Sho didn't seemed to listen, so he had to ask again to get his attention.
"We leave?" Sho nodded and smiled but not as usual which started to raise questions on Aiba's mind.
When they were heading outside Jun and Sho left behind, Nino made him signals to leave them and they headed to their bikes.
"Is he ok?" Nino asked while they waited for their couples
"I don't know, he seems weird."
"Uhmm I hope those idiots of your friends haven't talked to him about your reputation."
"You think that has to do? I don't think Sho's one of those boys who wants to go to bed so fast"
"Aibaka don't we all are like that at least once?" Nino replied snarkly, winning himself a slap on the head from his friend "Ouch! You know I'm right though".
This time Nino was saved when Sho and Jun appeared in front of them. They rode their backs and headed to meet their friends.
Aiba shook off what Nino had just told him, but, if he was honest, he really wanted to be with Sho so bad, those make out sessions weren't enough and he was having a hard time stopping himself every time. But he meant it when he said he wanted to be special the first time they could be together, not fucking on a corner of a skate park, no, he wanted something more meaningful with Sho. He stopped thinking about it when they arrived to the park, he saw Sho going to chat with Yoko and Ryo on a corner while they all drank a few beers, he stayed with Nino and Jun close enough in case Sho needed him, but was caught out of guard when Sho got close to him and kissed him wildly for the second time that day, the difference was the alcohol on Aiba's blood stopped him for thinking straight and returned the kiss with same if not more intensity, feeling his body about to explode. He barely heard the noise around him, he broke the kiss and grabbed Sho's hand guiding him to their usual place, winning time to go back to his senses, he took of his jacket and placed on the floor for them to sit, he also wanted Sho to calm down, but things weren't as planned, and they kept kissing. Sho dragged him to lay on top of him, and when his hand touched the other's skin he knew it was time to stop, he almost jumped trying to sit down again, and he saw the deception on Sho's eyes, but he also had made up his mind, he didn't want this for them, he wanted something special, something unforgetable.
"Sho wait, we can't"
"We can't or you don't want?"
Aiba had never seen Sho like that but he understood, nobody likes to be rejected and he felt horrible doing this to him specially when he wanted things to happen as much as him.
"Sho....let's go, I take you home"
"Whatever" the other said before running out of their corner
He needed to stop him and explain him, but the other didn't want to listen, he didn't care the questioning looks or the mocking noises some of their friends made when saw the scene.
"Sho....Sho wait"
By the time he catched Sho, he noticed nothing that he could say was gonna compensate the other.
"Shut up, just take me home and shut up"
Aiba sighed in defeat and headed Sho's home, the whole ride both of them stayed silent, and he expected Sho had calm down by the time he parked in front of his house, but it didn't happen the other still was really upset and after throwing the helmet to him he headed home without saying a single thing.
"Sho don't be like that..." he tried to ride off to catch him, but Sho snapped the door behind him indicating him not to get close.
"Fuck!"
Aiba shouted and stayed outside Sho's house for a bit, hoping the other would come out and he could apologize but after an hour he realized it was useless, so he headed home, the only thing he wanted was a cold shower and sleep off this whole bad afternoon.
As soon as he got home, he headed to the shower, and made up his mind. He couldn't wait more and wasn't going to let that become a problem for him and Sho, probably the other hated him now, but still he was gonna prepare something special. He waited for Ohno, he knew his father had a beach house that they never used so, even if he had to use his best puppy eyes he was gonna ask to get it for one night. He was making his plan when he listened the door opening and Ohno announcing he was home
"Oh-chan welcome home!" he said with enthusiasm.
"Aiba? Isn't it early for you to be here and showered?" He noticed the teasing on his brother’s voice.
"Yeah, yeah. Listen, I need to ask you a favor."
"Ook...what is it?" said Ohno loosing his tie and letting himself fall on the couch
Aiba explained him, in a very loosen way what was the favor, he was expecting having to beg, but for his surprise his brother immediately accepted without making too many questions.
He took his keys and pull out 2 handing them to him.
"Here, just behave and take care, ok?"
"Thanks Oh-chan, you rock!"
He headed to his room and changed quickly, heading out and calling Nino and asking him to bring Jun with him to meet him in their usual place, Nino didn't ask much and agreed, when Aiba arrived the pair was already waiting for him.
"So? what is it?" Jun asked first.
"I need your help, yours specially" he said referring to Jun
"Ok, so what can we do for you?"
Aiba explained what was his plan, he needed them to help him prepare Oh-chan's beach house to have a special moment with Sho. He had to deal with Nino's teasing and Jun turned out to be quite a teaser too, making him realize why those two fitted so well. Once they were organized, they started to work on i,t leaving all ready; the candles and flowers Jun insisted to bring to decorate the place. They finished over midnight, but Aiba stayed late making sure all was perfect.
He barely could sleep that night, he was anxious and excited at the same time, suddenly a thought crossed his mind, did Sho had any experience? Well if he had it or not was irrelevant, he was going to make sure this was an awesome experience for both.
Time passed by quickly, so he headed Sho's home and waited a bit before sending the first text, he imagined that, if Sho was still upset with him, it was going to cost a lot to made him even go outside.
As he read the replies to the text he saw he was right, and started to lose his temper kicking the tire of his bike.
To: Sho
I'm not moving til you come out
He didn't care if he had to wait forever for him to go out. Around 10 minutes later he saw him opening the door and looking at him with that angry gaze of his.
"What you want?"
"I wanted to see you and talk to you"
"No need, and you saw me now, so bye"
It really upset him this attitude of him, he got he was upset and whatnot but he lost his patience too and before the other could run away again he grabbed his arm
"You are coming with me"
The answer and the way Sho looked at him made him lose the last string of patience he had, he wasn't going to keep with Sho's games.
"I'm not asking you, I said you're going with me so wear that and ride on"
To his surprise Sho stopped fighting and did as told, and before he even complained about the blindfold on the helmet he warned him.
"Don't you dare totake it off"
Sho kept fighting, but he was obeying, something Aiba found funny.
"You enjoy being an asshole don't you?
"You like me anyway, though"
They parted and Aiba could listen sho mumbling something but didn't catch what it was.
The ride to the beach house seemed so short for him, once he stopped he rode off the bike and helped Sho to do the same, then he indicated him to take off the helmet, making the other gasp.
The look of surprise on the other's face was something that made Aiba almost jump, he loved that man.
"Where are we?"
"Surprise, you like it?"
"What's going on?"
"You'll see, hope you don't have plans for tonight, you're all mine now"
Sho looked at him surprised and Aiba could swore the other almost fainted when saw the inside of the house realizing what was going on.
