Good Morning, Cruel World! (or) Life Decisions I Can't Make Under the Influence of Too Much Caffeine

Friends, Bostonians, Countrymen:

After a (somewhat) extended silence, I mark my triumphal return to LiveJournal with the following caveat:

My life is boring.

Now, I don't mean really stunningly boring, you understand.  I'm not a manufactured-clothing inspector (Proudly Verified by #9), or a data-entry specialist (=SUM(B5:B9)+10/37), or a public policy ( Read more... )

I was sort of offline most of this weekend... so if you put something up about TDK I missed it.

I concur about the getting together, etc.

There's lots of good costume movies coming out recently... Some French one I really wanted to see who's name I can't remember right now. E-mail me at Gmail and let's make plans.

I get you with the "boring life of same stuff 80-billion-times plus occasional attacks of neuroses."
I'm going crazy with the wedding being two weeks off, but all I'm doing is updating the wedding spreadsheet, sewing shit, and dealing with tailor's appointments.

Also, we are not cursed to turn into our mothers. (Gods, let that be true.) I want to age like my dad, not like my mom. I love her, I do, it's just that she's really going a bit nutty.

Also?
Miss you.

You're super-awesome, and I would like to hear a bit more about the shows you're involved in, even if it's just a rundown of how it looked and what ridiculous snafus occurred on opening night.

Of course! I will endeavor to talk more about shows. You can also always e-mail or call me... I'm around, most of the time, morbid mail-checking fear aside.

Omigosh. I cannot believe you are getting married. That is so amazing. I need to hear more about that, too... after all, it's no small production, a wedding! I'm sure you are doing it wonderfully - in your own unique way. I do not request, but rather, DEMAND - photos.

We should hang out. Like the kids do.

Weren't we supposed to watch When Harry Met Sally?

This is Christine, by the way.
