An external drive is on my wishlist far too long too and since my computer needs to be setup again I really need one *sigh* but I dread the setup...

the setup was real easy, but I bought a USB one which means the data transfer is a little slower than if you bought a S-ATA one. But I didn't want to upgrade my old Computer and fiddle with the hardware, so I just got one where all you need is a cable :-)
