I know you asked me this on DA- but I think I'll give my opinion here. Seeing that the price overlaps 6-8, 8-10, I do not feel the difference is too big, so I would rather have a nice glossy print. But then again, if it pretty much looks the same on normal paper and glossy paper ( where the only difference is in the feel of the paper, and not the look)- I'd rather get it cheaper!( Perhaps its my personal opinion, but Im not too particular about the paper- so long as the comic looks sharp on it, and the paper doesn't tear at the slightest pressure-then it's acceptable to me...) Is the comic you're holding in the preview printed on normal paper, or glossy paper? It looks really good. I hope you get to sell it!
Thanks! I totally understand your situation, however, I'm thinking about selling them for $7+shipping (which I haven't priced out at all yet, especially for international orders). The one I'm holding is on the cheaper paper; it looks nice, but the paper quality is just so disappointing. I think it would print out nicer on better paper also, which costs about $2 more per book, which is the option I think I'm going to choose. If you have a zine / comic you've printed, I'd definitely be interested in trading (you send me yours, I send you mine, no money exchanged), otherwise, I'd definitely like you to have a copy and I'm sure we could work something out (give me a plug?), just send me a note/email/message when I start taking orders. (:
