I went to see Speed Racer last night, and I really enjoyed it!

I went in with a little apprehension, because I´m not a big fan of movie in witch the actors perform pretty much all the time in front of a blue screen ( like the new Star Wars trilogy).
But this movie was different. We weren´t supposed to believe all that world was really real. It was ( Read more... )

movies, rl, foxy, the office, lost

I agree re: Speed Racer. Once you got used to the blue screen, and realised it was supposed to look like that, it was fine. I loved the smile! Made the 2 hours very worthwhile :)

Good luck with your test!!

Yeah. I was scared it was gonna be really bad but I was pleasantly surprised.
And I guess it´s known in show-business that Foxy´s a good cry-er ´cause they had him tearing up at the end ;)

It was kinda weird :)
I went with my brother and I think he didn´t know Foxy was in it. As soon as he appeared on screen he said to me "That´s Jack", and I wanted to giggle :D

I agree, I thought the movie was done well. They got what they were going for with the mixture of animation and real world. I really enjoyed it. And Foxy in that tux...amazing. He did an awesome job with the movie, and it seemed like he had a lot of fun making it too. :)

Good luck with your studying! :D

Good luck, I'll be keeping my fingers crossed for you.

Racer Sex almost killed me there at the end. OMGUH, he accessorized his tux with his girlfriend's dress. And he was such a classy looking, powerful Bruce Wayne-type gentleman, it was... GUUUUUH.

Thanks sweetie!

He did look all kinds of amazing in that movie. I wish he had more screen time, but what we got sure was satisfying ;D

Awww... thank you, honey, so much. I am doing better, and I really appreciate your thinking of me. *big hugs*

You guys are making me feel better about Speed Racer because I wasn't really looking forward to it. I'll probably see it this weekend.

I'm more excited about The Office than Lost too, and I think it's because I haven't been as invested in The Office as I once was in Lost. I kind of dread what's coming on Lost, and I don't worry about that with The Office. There's just been too much disappointment and there's too much at stake with Lost.

*hugs back*

Go see it. Just don´t go in expecting to see anything realistic. It´s Speed Racer after all :)

I think the Lost writers have put us throw so much crap already that we don´t really trust them so much anymore. Not like we used to.
On the other side, the Office writes have proven me over and over again that they´re the best. I love how they don´t really listen too much to what people want, they write what´s real and what they think is right for the story they´re telling. *pats them in the back*
