If you want something else to watch, while you wait for the last ten episodes of BSG and the premiere of Caprica, may I suggest that you flick your monitor to Babylon 5? You can watch most of the series for free: seasons 1 and 2 appear in full on both Hulu and AOL Video, with season 3 on AOL Video, and more added all the time.

Well, for time being we have two more weeks of soccer left *g*, then I still haven't watched BSG 4.10 (no hurry, really). Also, I heard that lots of people who like BSG also loved this show called Firefly, so I decided to check that one out too.
Hiatus shouldn't get boring this way. Still annoying though.

AOL does have 1 more season than Hulu currently, so that's a benefit.
Firefly, I didn't really get into, though I liked Serenity and I loved Nathan Fillion (the ostensible lead in FF) in a little indie called Waitress. Quite drool-worthy, that one.

In fact, one of the most evocative moments in the BSG miniseries, suggesting a parallel with our Earth, also happens in the episode "Chrysalis".
I may have to link this post when I try to hook new people - the first season can be a bit of a stumbling block.

This is a big, big spoiler for the first season of Babylon 5....and I have no idea how to do spoiler text in a reply yet (still new, grumble) so I'll make it really small in hopes people avoid getting spoiled... Do you know what tag I need to use so I can fix this?
I'm referring to Clark ascending to the presidency, just as Roslin does in the miniseries. They both use visual cues to make us think of the JFK assassination.
