Not quite the last thing I expected...

A couple of days ago I downloaded Messenger. So now I have five instant messenger programs on my computer, this joining iChat (=AIM), Skype, Yahoo Messenger and Gizmo (sponsored by this here blog site). Not that I have anyone to share this with... I leave Yahoo IM open when I turn on the computer, occasionally firing up one of the others. After getting back from Third Place I noticed a change, and a message that I missed, joining one from last night. Switch over to Microsoft Messenger, and....

Inês. For completeness' sake, she was the one who suggested me picking up a Hotmail address. And then vanished again. Neither side actually put in a serious question (me because the translator she's using is just as bad as ever, can't speak for the matogrossense's reason). One of her statements, which did not get translated, stated (if I'm reading my PT-EN dictionary right) that I should do a Google search on myself... the top matches were the tower-climber and an article about the book-publisher from Washington DC, who died two years ago. The top match for this me isn't until 19th place, well back from the last time I checked for traces of me online seven months ago... the next two are at 66th and 68th. Gotta figure out how to fix that...
Looks like the file is reopened. Here we go again.
