Oh, oh, oh, oh oh This is wonderful and perfect and God it just makes me want to pick up wee Sherlock and give him a cup of tea. (yeah, I continued with the PG theme :p). Ah, miscommunication - such a beautiful ansty thing. Loved this. There's a quietness to it that really resontates and makes it very bittersweet.

Great story. I love your portrayal of John and Sherlock - each with his own darkness, his own demons and how they take comfort in each other's presence - especially their mostly silent middle-of-the-night meetings.

This is beautiful! Not just the scenes and the kiss, but also the way it's written. Sherlock's POV is very in-character and it sounds very beliavable that he'd think exactly what you make him think.
