OH I loved this so much!!! I can't even begin to tell you. It was sweet but it had just the teeniest bit of angst, especially there at the end...and it was just perfect. *happy sigh* I'd be more coherent but it's late and I'm tired. :( I LOVED THIS!!!!!!

LOL, I was going to tell you to go ahead with the modern AU if you wanted. This worked out great though! Glad you got the idea. I'm not sure I've ever read anything you've written that's remotely fluffy, so hope it wasn't too far out of your comfort zone and that you enjoyed writing it. :)

Modern gives me more manoeuvering room, because Arthur isn't quite that uptight in a modern world, but it was kind of fun to see if I could manage this in the canon verse. It is difficult for me to write fluffy, since I gravitate towards angst more naturally, but I had written fluff before and it is fun.

I might just write that modern AU too, one day. Just to see if I can :).

Ah, I love Merlin here - he's so unburdened in a way he hasn't been in the show for a long time. And they are so sweet together!
