aw...wow. this made me teary. wanted something to read whilst waiting for an upload of ep 1, and this perfectly fit the bill. thanks so much--the depth of feeling here took my breath away.

God, this is gorgeous writing, and the voices so well done - I really feel the weight of all that hatred crushing them beneath it, and I like that it's not clear at the end that Ianto, at least, can bear it...
