Awww...how they just stopped talking! :( I can see Jack being a bit obtuse on that front. Glad he started paying attention.

Freaky little shiver when Ianto started cataloging when his teammates would die...

That was very beautiful!

Jack is, in my opinion, all about giving space. I based that bit on the end of FOOTR, when he lets a clearly distressed Ianto walk away.

I made you shiver! I'm strangely proud. And thank you!

Gorgeous! Ianto's grief and sorrow are evident through the entire fic, but the release comes when Jack implores him to lean on him for support. Loved it.

Perfect! Nailed the ending just right. :P I was thinking that you really needed to pull it back with some connection to Jack, but I didn't think to mention it at the time. And then you did it! Yay!

I like this. I like how you kept everything so flat and grayed out for Ianto. Your style really worked well in this fic.

Well, I always intended to reference Jack's immortality -- b/c imho it's one of the reasons why Ianto clings so much to Jack. It didn't work out initially, so when you told me to change the ending, it seemed a natural place to take it.

Glad you liked! And thank you :).
