Sleeeeeeeeep.

I live in a very noisy place with noisy neighbours, which is fine until they're noisy at one in the morning (I went to her door three times, but she keeps it down for a week and then starts back up again) so I needed a solution. I discovered the joys of extension cords for ear buds, so I can enjoy my tv at whatever volume without anyone else being ( Read more... )

frustration is for the frustrated, because vera is insane, my brain hurts from thinking, me, your picture window into my world, rl

I love my squishy earplugs!

Ah, non stressy dreams, they are nice. I'd like more of those, nom :)

At least dreaming about everything is healthy. *shrug*

That's true. I just need to get used to dreaming again, I guess.

It appears I have one very noisy neighbour. IN THE NEXT STREET. They are chronically noisy - starting at lunchtime with music loud enough to be louder than my TV.
Apparently they've been noisy for years, it's just I haven't been here to hear it.

I wish you well with the earplugs, though it does seem ludicrous to me that you have to be the one who has to cancel her noise out *hugs*

Hopefully the dreams will sort themselves out soon. ♥

Wow. That's extremely noisy. That's 'let's call the police' level noisy.

Yeah, she's a bit rude and obnoxious. It got a bit hilarious because I'd told her twice already that I could literally hear her conversations when she had guests past midnight, and yet the third time, just before she opens the door, I hear her say, "Oh, it'll be my neighbour, because I'm being too loud." And then feign concern at me. So she's not very bright, and I happily hate her.

I'm sure the dreams will settle eventually, or I'll get used to them again. I must have been, when I was younger, right?

Possibly not quite that loud though I do have written a note to myself that I should look and see what the council says about noise.

*goes to do it*

Ugh, noisy neighbors are the worst. I used to have one who was mostly deaf and would crank her TV up at all hours - so much I could hear it through 18 inches of concrete. I'd tell her to turn it down and she'd say there was no way it was too loud. To her, of course it wasn't.

Now my biggest sleep interrupter are of the feline and avian persuasion.

I'm glad your dreams aren't like mine - when I remember them, they're horrifying. When I don't, I'm still left with a very unsettled feeling.

Uh, yeah. That's real useful. My neighbour likes to slam doors. At all hours of the day, it doesn't matter, every time, bam! Everyone else just closes and opens doors; I know when she gets home just because the door goes bam! right next to my flat.

Feline interrupters aren't so bad, you can pet them :).

I don't have nightmares frequently, thankfully. I tend to have a lot of awkward dreams where I'm left with a sort of, "I am an incompetent stooge" feeling, but not the "waah that was too realistic and creepy!" kind.

HI!

I am about to head to my last class of the day, and then it'll be a department meeting that I HOPE will be short. Cheers!
