Things not to do after a super busy day at work: make withdrawals from the ATM, apparently. Instead of going for 'choose amount' my finger went for 'quick withdrawal' and I got way too much money that was earmarked for my rent ( Read more... )

Don't ask me how often I felt like I fail at adult life. I mean seriously...
Point of this comment? I guess I just wanted to let you know that you're not alone.

And I suspect that our parents had exactly the same difficulties. They just didn't reveal them:)

Thanks. I know I'm not the only one doing stupid things (my bff is still haunted by accidentally dropping her wallet in the paper container) but yeah, appreciated :).

I strongly suspect this is the case!

In the age of online bill paying (I'm too strapped/budgeted to do auto-draws), I frequently miss the deadline. It's not the end of the world, but I find it really embarrassing that I can't remember to do something, when there's a reminder email staring me in the face every time I open my in-box.

In that case, seeing as I don't get paid monthly and therefore must budget, I've found google calendar an indispensable tool, as it can send you reminder emails a day in advance. I recommend it, colour coding and all :)

UGH I've done that same exact thing at ATMs so dumb *sigh*

And UGH UGH UGH our commissary was packed this evening as well, hubs ran to pick up some trashbags & he said the lines were HUGE and there were 30 minutes from closing /o\

And UGH yes, our commissary is often out of things I want.

It's so dumb and yet my brain goes "nooooo!" and my finger does it anyway.

Nothing more frustrating than when they're out of items on sale, which they do frequently. And queues, endless queues and like seven checkouts open and I'm like, what have you got twenty for if not to use 'em??
