Really loved this and how real it is--Catherine picking up on Steve's attraction to Danny, and asking about it just as Danny's about to leave because it has to be torturing her, in a way. The end, too, with them being content to just be there for each other, but with the an open door of hope. So good.

There is a thread of reality to this. The uncertainty of both Cath and Danny, the Angst in the knowledge that Cath imparts, the revelations of both Steve and Danny, but there is the risk and the question of the risk being worth it all...
Love how you handled this, that there was no jumping straight into the sex.
Really heartbreakingly lovely, the Angst always gets me and this was perfect in that way!

I really love the way Danny always can take care/read Steve (at least when is not about Steve loves him) but most of all, I love their trust, the donation, and relief that they feel when they discover love. Thanks for sharing.
