Which is totally irrelevant, but it helps not having to spell it or not having to watch them mangle it, so it's nice, it's low hassle. I discovered the joy today of the Starbucks "rise and shine" muffin (oh, but they are so witty) along with my overpriced super-coffee, and for the joys of six bucks and change, I didn't have to run home to cram ( Read more... )

Ah, invisibility. I have it. I once attended a convention - split a cab with someone also attending the convention in the evening, had a moderately successful conversation from airport to hotel and the next morning? She asked for an introduction. LOL.

Ugh. It's not that you're not memorable; it's the fact that they're not paying attention. I've awkwardly stood around two professors I haven't been in class with in years (but they should remember me considering how much we hated each other) and they completely didn't know who I was. *shrugs*

They were very memorable mostly by being completely not what I needed, I suspect that at being another B student, I wasn't much of anything to them. (Hated, huh? I always remember the people I hate.)

I don't think it's that you weren't memorable, they were just too wrapped up in their own thing, Elvis could have been sitting next to them and they probably would have missed him.
