I've got to say that this is so freaking good, hon. Dark and layered and so many emotions brimming on the surface. Wow. Poor Danny, there are cracks and there are fissures and he's breaking all over the place. And Steve, wow, e's just as dark if not darker and meretricious in this--with so many nuances that I'm trying to read and not getting a good feeling about.

Wow, I'm not keen on people cheating on their spouse, but yeah, I can see how sometimes your spouse isn't actually what you need.

Great characterisations. And really wondering what Steve's even doing there.

Great sex scene! Really good. Pleased to see Steve has some issues of his own.

Racing on to read some more.

I think Steve is morally ambiguous a lot, and I like that about characters. You're one of the first to talk about that, but yay, you noticed!

Did my homework literally :). I have a law degree, so I'm more than passingly familiar with police work and procedure. May also have watching police docus as a hobby, I'm not telling ;P
