Oh my. This is lovely yet totally heartbreaking. I really wish that they would actually talk like this on the show because I feel like a lot of stuff between them just kind-of got hand-waved away.
But really, really lovely job on this!

First of all, yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay OMG new fic to devour! I love it so when people dip their toes into this tiny fandom, and I could tell just from reading the header I would enjoy this ( ... )

It's EKP that got me into this when I stumbled over it on youtube. The irony is that I actually get the show at home on my tv, but never knew! I'm a total addict, and when I get like that, there has to be fic ( ... )

It's awesome of your beta to get into the show specifically to beta your fic - talk about dedication! And character nitpicks can be hard to pinpoint whether you're immersed in the source material or not - I'm glad my comment didn't offend. You're right, there IS a fair amount of tears on the show as well but there's usually a counterpoint, even if it's just little things like Deniz being all "uhm dude, your shoelaces are undone" after Roman's confession about his past.

Heeeh, I love that the meta was intentional. Subtle yet there. Really cool. And I agree, the current era feels reminiscent of the gloomier parts of the Dark years.
