The other week Galaxy Quest was on TV, and it inspired me to rewatch some of Alan Rickman's films, which I hadn't seen for quite some time.
Obviously, I started with GQ. With the exception of Star Trek, I've never been a science fiction fan, but I very much enjoy GQ anyway. It's very funny and so cleverly done. Apart from that, I have a soft spot

My very favorite is Sense and Sensibility, hands down. It is a very restrained performance but with so much fire below the surface.

I love S&S very much as well, but it's the first of AR's films I ever bought and therefore the one I have watched the most. It was time to rewatch some of his other films.

I'm only seen AABA once when it was released at the cinema. I do own the video, but I couldn't bring myself to watch it. I rather liked it when I first saw it although I thought that Stella was quite annoying. But I'm afraid a couple of remarks and manips made by some fangirls about the sex scene, which I once inadvertently read about, make me dread watching that scene (and the entire film) again.
