Have been job searching. Close to 80 apps in roughly 2-2.5 weeks. Nothing yet. Just a lot of rejections. I hate the Taleo system like you wouldn't believe. Right? "I can do this for you quickly. I promise!" It's just insane how behind they are and summer session hasn't even ended. Fall should not be far behind. I got my financial aid done, put in the system since it was just a renewal, but I haven't been able to hit the 'accept all the monies' buttons yet. Even though it's clearly in the Banner account. Of course, student accounts AND financial aid both deal with my aid...with neither one ever taking responsibility.

Pretty much, yeah. I mean, our school is so stupid when it comes to organization. There's no accountability, either. They're saying it's due 7/19...but class doesn't start until 8/19. Yeeeah. And EVERYONE is pretty much part time, in staff and fac, so nothing is every discussed and performed well.

Now I just go in and say "Done 2-3 apps tonight." Since I do and the jobs aren't just put down en masse nowadays.

I think the school sitch is worked out, but I'm not sure. The school says I have financial aid available, but um, I have no idea what's going on since my school is unbelievably backwards.
