Wow, see, now I'm glad I don't read HP anymore. Y'all, I'm sorry, but the NYT? Is a paper, who frequently reviews books. I don't think that there should have even been a damn embargo. I am in complete and total agreement with you. It's all about perspective, really.

I mean, I'm furious about the dogfighting because it's a sport that kills dogs, off and on field. Harry's not real, in any way, shape, or form unless you count fan imagination. Seems to me the needless death and condoning of some major organizations is tad more important, because it sets a precedent.

HP is a franchise, not a religion, and certainly not an article of state business to my knowledge, in any country. Instead of turning the NYT review into some major deal, just do what the rest of us do - spread word not to read the review if you don't want to be spoiled. It's not like the entire population reads NYT - most fen won't even stumble across the review w/out active provocation.

HP is a huge ass franchaise at this point. Nothing short of burning all the books before they're distrubuted in a minute will stop hoards of people buying multiple copies. Make that now. If something mentioned "Deathly Hallows" avoid it at all costs. It's really, really not that complicated. I thought it was funny when all the other journalists were like "You broke the rules!" Please, you were just made you didn't get a copy through legal channels. It seems like HP fen forget that this happens at every book release.
Oh, and apparently the review? Should have put a 'spoiler' alert on it. Being a review and all.
