Okay, so the last two episodes of Dark Angel were way better than I expected. And apparently we're getting the repeat of the first episode. But the last two were pretty damn good. I hearted Joshua. It was good enough but there were little things that drove me crazy in that finale, like logan of all people taking pics of max's back thingy's when one touch could kill his ass & they were broken up or whatever. That was fucking stupid. It's been years and it still pisses me off since it made no sense. But I still wanted a 3rd season, fucking Fox. Fucking James Cameron, Jessica Alba and Michael Weatherly. Grrrrrr!

Yeah, that bit about the photo taking sucked (Alec would have been *much* better, and did I mention, hotter?). I was hoping they'd stay broken up forever. I didn't want them together. (What? Alec. Hello. HOT.) It would have been AWESOME to see the third season, to see how they managed to survive. Considering the number of times Max played Superhero, they ought to have been nicer. *grumbles* But I was glad Sketchy came around, I gotta say. He was pissing me off. More than Normal, and that's saying something.

*goes off to read the story* I haven't ventured into the fic part of it all. Could be interesting. I'll start reading it when DA is off.

My god they would have been hot together. Hell I say a pick of them backstage at the teen choice awards and it was on fiyah! Alec was the hottness, he's my fav Jensen Ackles character. I could do a whole post about the shit that derailed the 3rd season and how fox put the word out that they couldnt produce Firefly *&* DArk Angel at the same time, which is insane. It would have been a nice precursor to Sci-Fi friday. Bastards.

Yeah Dark Angel is the fandom that really pulled me into fannish things, hardcore.

It would have been GUH worthy. Seriously. GUH. I mean, he was so damn hot. Especially the messy hair. If I get this job, I'm buying S2. Might as well have the whole series. *grins* But mostly for Alec. Heh. Jensen is just so damn pretty, and Alec is the prettiest time of all.

Of course they couldn't produce them both. And I find it ironic that DA was cancelled and then 13 episodes later, so was Firefly. I always wondered why they never kept them both, since you know. GOOD. Ooh, I wonder if when SFF comes back (I don't watch BSG, so fuck that shit...) if they'll pair the Gates up with FF. It would make a lot of sense since they own the rights to show it.

*laugh* I had Buffy for the hardcore pull in. I never got DA when it was on, so.

Yes! Freak Nation rocked, did it not? That is one satisfying hour and a half of television. You know who kicked butt in that episode? The negotiator (who was Imhotep on SG-1 and Simon on BSG). I love when he calls White and Grodin, "You and your lady friend..."

Mole amused the hell out of me. "That's Mister Punk-ass." And Joshua was... well, Joshua, now with added butt-kicking. Logan saving Alec amused the heck out of me. And I loved Max's Ordinary friends sticking by her.

Love that episode!

It did rock! I loved the way Ames was beaten to hell and back by Joshua of all people. And the dog growling bits. And Normal birthing that baby. No barcode or anything. Wonder if all the kids are barcodeless. I LOVED the negotiator guy. He was someone else too. No idea who, but he looks so familiar. I loved it when Grodin was "your lady friend." *snickers* And when he was told he didn't matter with White, who he was all up on.

I liked Mole too! He was all "bitch, please" and questioned Max, which was kinda cool. And when Joshua left her to go with Mole. And Alec, all being "Okay, so not a problem" when Mole used him as a shield. And wow, it was so sad when whatshisface was killed for being a little different.

And, it was totally nice to have an episode where Logan got to do more than say "Be careful" or "We're not like that."

Seriously. I'm sure he's cute enough to be able to talk occasionally. Those lines got old quick. Worse than the "woman [or man] I love" they say on Passions all the time. And those awesome electronic feet things rocked. Transgenicy without being totally so.
