They played fine for me in both windows media player and winamp. What program are you using? Maybe you just need a codec or an update.

I was using both! I just updated Winamp earlier today, since I was apparently out of date. Hmm, I'll try to update the media player. It was very frustrating though.

Whats a codec?

OOooo, I had this problem before. If it's an avi file you need the proper codec, and you'll have to download a search-for-codec program, and you know what I have the program on my home computer, but not here, so I can't even tell you the name. durh. Let me look around on the web a little.

It's like a.... thing, that you need to play videos. Go here:
http://www.headbands.com/gspot/
and download the v2.21. Run it, and it should tell you what codec you need in order to play the avi file. Then, um. Geez, haven't done this in a while. I think you can search for the codec you need and install it.

sorry, not all that helpful! I just can't remember how I exactly I fixed mine.

Still, I can figure it out from there, I think. I just need a push. *grins* I'm just glad I've got *some* help coming to me.
