We went to the zoo earlier. I need to do a write up for class, but man I love that place. We bought a membership. 69 for a year. Sooo not bad. We figure we'll go every couple weeks when we want to get out to the house since it's not like we have to pay admittance again. Heh. Anyway, while I was there, I actually took a few pics for two people

*laugh* See? Totally Mel! That was honestly the first thing I thought when I saw it.

Oh, I totally don't doubt you. *laugh* You probably did see the freaky things. *laugh* Sloths are slightly scary, in my opinion. Could be the way they look though.

The zoo! I'm jealous. XD I love the zoo. And I love otters. Great pictures!

Zoo Atlanta is pretty awesome. Kinda small, but awesome. I can't wait to go more often.

Your otters are awesome at the Perth Zoo we've got a water enclosure for them as well so we can see them swimming around in the tank. I remember seeing them at the Adelaide zoo and we went up to their enclosure and they went crazy. Poor things, that zoo was horrible.

I watched this Australian thing World Around Us with this guy who worked in a privately owned wildlife reserve. He could hug and play with these huge lions and hyenas. It was one of the most amazing things I've ever seen and my heart just swelled some much with love for those big cats.

I've seen otters at SeaWorld plenty of times, but I never realized that we had them here. They were Asian small-clawed ones, I think. Very cute. You couldn't really view them though, unless they were on land. Zoo Atlanta used to be...horrible is the only word I can think of. Then they redid it, and made it beter, much better. It used to be cement block type cells for the animals.

I love watching those people that get to play with the animals, especially the big lions. Most people don't realize that is one of my personal dreams, as well as to help prepare the animals foods. On Animal Planet, they have a lot of shows about people taking care of the wildlife. I'm so jealous of those. Especially the people that work in the zoo, the keepers.
