Well, I was planning to write a witty little entry about my first day of summer school (about my lecturer who sounds like's saying "and my turd point", he's Irish, it makes discussing assets quite amusing - and a bunch of other little stuff) but right now I'm just pissed because my PC's buggered

At least, I know what the inside of a computer looks like and what most of it does and what it looks like when something's exploded...
That is, I probably can't fix it myself (unless you pay for parts, then I could probably help you install them), but I might be able to help diagnose the problem and save you the cost of having it looked at.
