so my folks are watching a rerun of the cmas, sugarland gets some award, and i say, "she went to agnes scott." to which mom replies, "really??" apparently she missed that fact. then my parents go on to ask random stuff like what she majored in ["was she a classics major?" says my dad. haha.] and then mom suddenly asks, "is she a lesbian?" to which

To add to your mom's theory, every time I hear Kenny Chesney's name, I think of ass-less chaps, which I'm pretty sure is a fashion requirement for gay men. I don't remember why those two things are linked together in my mind, but perhaps he is so gay that his name just calls gay items to mind.
