While cruising for Halloween icons (nothing suitable found), I came across the following recipe:

mix together equal parts:

- pumpkin seeds [roasted, salted]
- peanuts
- pretzels [mini kind or sticks]
- corn chex
- candy corn [regular, or caramel/candy apple kinds - or all 3!]
- craisins [regular kind]

Isn't it awful when those expenses all decide to pop up at the same time?

I haven't given all hope yet!

You know, Cherlene is on the list of people who are MIA. I thought she was volunteering or something?

Will give you all the juicy details.

OK that party mix sounds seriously awesome. One of my favorite things about Halloween is roasting my own pumpkin seeds after carving happens. Mmmmmm.

Glad Dezi's feeling a little better. <3

so like... this has nothing to do with anything... but the pumpkin seeds reminded me that every year i carve the shit out of some pumpkins (like works of art) and every year they flops over and squish into jelly like three days later. do you know of any way to get pumpkins to last longer?

Try petroleum jelly. Coat the inside of the pumpkin with it and it will help retain the pumpkin's moisture and slow down dehydration, rot and mold. Or, try Pumpkin Fresh.
