I'm guessing this is a typo, but boy, it made me laugh. The vernacular is 'toms', in case it was otherwise. Meaning prostitutes. But your lovely typo made me think of Settlers Tums, the indigestion remedy, which made me start singing an advert in my head as I watched Roy Hudd cavort to the sound enthusiastically.

There was some good tunes this ep, wasn't there? Talking Heads. The Cure. The Jam. Yazoo. It's like we've got a lot more selective in the eighties tunes we'll deign to use. Ooh! ZZ Top! Me and Mr Zircon reached simultaneously for our air guitars when that one kicked in.

Oh. Right. Okay. I think I remember reading that the US was going to make its own version, but beyond that I knew nothing. Clearly there's nothing worth investigating further!

i'll be keeping tightlipped on the preview blurbs for 3x07 and (eventually) 3x08. so you won't need to shield your eyes. ;)
