[Fish no.1.5] A welcoming party?

Sep 26, 2010 16:37

[Sunday  a new day, full of new adventures and new choices to be made.

This new change in scenery wasn't devastating to Nino, which could be proved by her lack of protest and hubbub. That's not to say she wasn't upset, of course she was. She was separated from all her friends who she had, after an extensive amount of time, managed to remember their ( Read more... )

Heehee m'darling, the word you're looking for is drone, not droid ;) Mayfield ain't that hightech~~ tsuntiger September 26 2010, 21:57:47 UTC
[Why does Taiga always pick up the phone only to find herself listening to idiots? It happens far too often and only further aggravates her already short temper.

Not like that was any extraordinary feat.]

Oy, are you actually going to say something, or am I stuck listening to those kids babble until their tongues fall off?

[Nino's voice soon raised several notches, she was amazed someone was talking on the other end. It was a woman's voice, not Ric's, nevertheless it was still quite... magical.]

O-oh are you the operator? W-where are you?

[Nino looked around, expecting this person to be hiding in a closet or somewhere close by. That's the only explanation as to why someone could be heard so clear.]

No worries, mine isn't either xD And it doesn't really matter! Whatever you're comfortable with tsuntiger September 27 2010, 01:43:35 UTC
[Magic? Oh silly silly Nino, this girl is the farthest thing from magical. Unless you know, you count being able to out eat a whole family and maintain her figure... or lack of.

And great, someone who doesn't even understand how to use a phone. That might be the sound of Taiga crushing the phone in frustration.]

Nope. I'm at my house, like everyone else. You're new here, aren't you?

Your house?

[Nino's eyes moved around from the floor to the ceiling to the two drone children who had now settled down. In other words, she wondered if the house she was in was Taiga's house. Despite all the pictures of Aya, Nino, and their two drone children.

MUN BLAMEs NINO's FAILING MEMORY.

Her very loud voice soon returned to an average volume level. ]

Yeah, I'm new.

[Taiga's words soon reminded Nino that she was no longer at the home in which she was loved. She was in a foreign land.]

You probably don't want to go to that thing.

[There were now two voices on the phone! Nino had heard one voice on the phone before, but never two. This one was a male but it didn't sound like Ric either. Not to mention, this male also suggested not to go to the party. Nino couldn't understand why someone wouldn't go to a party. It was a community and, therefore, people did things together, right? At least, it was ridiculous not to go to the gatherings next to the river.]

Why not, isn't it a welcoming party?

No, it's not. Someone will probably get killed or something.

[Killed. 'Someone will probably get killed.' Well, that was a word she didn't hear thrown around often, except in a comedic sense. Usually, by Recruit, her lover. Talking about issues concerning his father, whom he was deathly afraid of. Or when Stella wanted to 'play' with him. In fact, she wondered if this guy might be Recruit. Maybe she didn't remember what he sounded like. She did, after all, call out into the phone expecting Recruit to answer.]

Ric, is that you?!
