Hey guys, if any of you are interested in any of these things I'm selling, let me know. I am seriously fucked right now, financially. I have NO income, I don't know WHEN Congress will pass the bill (they reconvene on Monday, and MAYBE they'll vote on the bill next week but I really don't know). Hey, have you thought about selling some clothes on eBay or even taking them into Playto's Closet?

What about babysitting/nanny? I know it sounds lame, but kids are out for the summer and you could just take 'em to the pool everyday. I know a lot of elementary teachers who do this in the summer for more income. Same with being a beercart girl for a golf course. Super easy gigs just to get some extra cash in for the time being.

I've never heard of Playto's Closet...I doubt there's one here in Redding, but I will look into it. I've thought about selling clothes on Ebay but I don't have all my clothing with me--it's in storage, 2.5 hours away.

Also yes I'd definitely do something like babysitting but there aren't any jobs! :(

Heh yesiree! I've been a member of them since around 2004. I have sold a LOT of stuff on them, for sure! I posted this sale in that community, too. I sold $50 worth of stuff today, so yay for that. I still need to sell way more though.

Oh yeah, speaking of that, I thought you'd get a kick out of this lady I spoke to on the phone today about a job. She asked about my education and experience what I was looking for and I said although I have a legal degree and the bulk of my experience is in the pharmaceutical/medical and legal fields, I am open to getting into other fields as well. She says ". . . . . . well, to be honest, you sound desperate for a job and I don't know what to think about that."

At first I was like ! ! ! and then I pretty much told her in the nicest, most professional way possible that in this current job market, I don't think it would be very wise of me to narrow my scope so much that it would be a long time (if ever!) before I was employed again.

But OMGGG . . . did I ever want to hang up on her and her annoying voice! UGH!

Yeah I would have been too. How dare she, honestly? Who does she think she is? I wouldn't have even tried after that...I wouldn't want to work for someone like that (although I know it's hard to be picky right now, ugh).
