Heh, Dogmeat is patiently waiting for my guy outside Vault 101 - he kept getting killed when I had him with me.

I hit 20 yesterday, but I think I've still got heaps of main story to do. I have been to almost everywhere on the map, I think.

I completely agree with you about those Talon sons-of-bitches - I took great pleasure in killing the commander when I found their base...

I too have a problem keeping Dogmeat alive, but I still take him everywhere; I just have to save a lot! XD I often make him wait while Charon and I clear out the really nasty areas. :D

I still have quite a few places to visit. I haven't explored the north-west area much and there are a few buildings I've left alone until I get closer to the end of the game. Oh, and I think there are a couple of vaults left to explore (which I am putting off for as long as I can XD).

I haven't raided the Talon base yet, so I think that might be the next place to visit. Payback, awww yeah! (... they will probably slaughter me ;____;)

I didn't get dogmeat until I had almost finished it :(

But then at around 25 hours I decided to rush through and finish the main story, so when I go back I will do EVERYTHING.

I can't wait to play it again

I am already looking forward to playing it again, so that I can do all the despicable things I couldn't bring myself to do the first time around... maybe. XD

Dogmeat never appeared for me. :(

The snipier rifle is mostly disappointing imo. The range is terrible for what it's supposed to be... I ended up just charging in with an assault rifle or shotgun.

Maybe some dirty raiders got to him before you did. Poor Doggiemeat. :(

I'm a sneaky sneaker; I dun like it when the enemies spot me, so I've found the sniper rifle to be invaluable. I think patience is the key; you have to get into the right position and wait for the right moment. It is hopeless in VATS and the range should definitely be better, but I love lurking in the dark and pulling off those one-shot kills. :D Last night I sniped most of the population at the raiders' main base into oblivion and it was awesome. :D
