Jean-Paul takes a while to show up because he has a ton of shit to get in order. His life would be so much less complicated if he'd just pick one city, get his own place, and keep his jobs in the same universe/continent/state. He's never been one for the sedentary life, though. As it is, he comes in the normal way, which is obviously through the window. Upon seeing the cake, he stops in his tracks.

"You are not well," he says.

Warren looks up, laughing. "I can't help it that I suck at cake decorating. But I wanted to get you cake. It was that or My Little Pony."

He closed the laptop and looked up with a smile. "Hey Sexy."

"There's a My Little Pony named after me," he says idly, putting his hands in his pockets. "So..."

"I will own this thing, I swear by all that is unholy."

Rising, he crossed to Jean-Paul and unless he pulls away, he kisses his cheek. "I'm really glad you're here,' he murmured, taking his hand. "Hungry?"
