Melt the margarine in a large sauce pan , crush the biscuits then add to the pan . Mix thoroughly then using the back of a spoon press into a lined , greased 8\'\' flan tin . Refrigerate .
Filling:
Put the soya cheese into a bowl with the lemon juice , rind and sugar . Stir vigorously and spoon onto the chilled base . Decorate with lemon slices and chill for a further 1/2 hour . Carefully remove flan case then indulge !
We usually make a bit more topping than that, and put more lemon in. I used two v. small lemons, which was a bit too much juice (base went soggy by the end of Saturday, though it tasted fine). I decorated it with raspberries, dropping them into the topping before it set.

My favourite bit of the Amsterdam half-marathon remains the bit over in the mostly residential east side of the city, where families and kids set up their own DIY water stands. I don't think they hand out much actual water, but it's such a heart-warming thing.
The horse chestnut tree by the forge at Kentwell was in a homicidal mood this past weekend too. Not just the number but the impact... I have bruises! I see nothing wrong with a barbecue in September (except for it being a barbecue ;0) )

Also - the kids round our way are also failing at conkers. Still plenty of lovely ones on the ground.
