Help me, o LJ.

Next week is the birthday of a small girl of my acquaintance. She'll be 6.

I haven't seen her in a year, and am not sure what she'd like (requests for advice from parents have not yet produced results). Last year she was all about pink stuff and craft supplies. However, shopping is a bit difficult at present, so I'm tempted by the ( Read more... )

Argos is the other option, as the experience of ploughing through the catalogue is an adventure in itself for a 6 year old..

I went for cash in the end, mostly due to realising I was out of time for voucher-organising. I put a note in the card explaining that I'd hurt my knees and couldn't walk to the shops, but that she should choose something herself.

Apparently said small girl declared her intention of buying me an Ocado delivery with it, since I can't go to the shops. Which is rather lovely of her. I believe her Mum is trying to convince her that I will be happy with a "thank you" and that she should spend it on something for herself...
