I am a keen student of this particular branch of science. :D You may or may not recall the elbow-to-wrist bruising I wrote about a few years ago when even the experienced phlebotomist went right through a vein on attempt no.9...

Gravity does awesome things to bruises. The back injury that bruised down my thigh to my knee was amazingly impressive.

Do you have a pantone chart or colour scanner? Then you could chart the transitions over time ... [grin]

Ah. Good. I've been told that people "failing to find a suitable blood vessel" isn't pleasant. I wouldn't know, I have veins like 6-lane motorways.

That's an impressive collection. :-(

I think you should have words with that purple one, it really ought to be providing some blue shading. Or possibly the black one might go that way.
