I found those tower stairs fairly terrifying, but one of my friends actually had to turn back and go back down, which made me feel more hardcore (despite the fact that nobody else seemed to have a problem at all).

I just found it quite weird, because it's really not the sort of thing I expect to scare me. Maybe I'm getting less hardcore in old age!
