Good heavens. I notice that today is exactly ten years since I started keeping an LJ. Happy birthday to my journal. I'm not sure I expected still to be blathering away a decade later.

It also means that I'm still using a photo of me which we decided some years ago was a bit rubbish and which is now considerably more than ten years old

You should definitely celebrate by breaking out a second icon! Don't go crazy, one per 10 years is quite adequate.

Finding decent photos of me is the hard part! The more I think about it, the more I wish I had got the exact same photo re-taken while in Whitby. It amuses me, even if it's almost completely pointless :)

Maybe I'll do it in April. No need to rush these things.
